Our Story

Seed to Tree Ministries is about carrying out God’s desire for His love to be made known to all people. Our goal is to take God’s love to all nations by what we say and what we do.

Claudia O’Neil, founder and director of Seed to Tree Ministries, first heard God's call to missions at age twelve in a small church in rural Kentucky. A seed was planted in her heart as she listened to missionaries tell of the need to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to Africa.

Many years later, that planted seed sprouted when Claudia went to visit missionary friends in Kenya in 2012. While there, she saw the physical and spiritual poverty of the African people. Her heart quivered as she remembered her childhood vision. After returning home, she formed Seed to Tree Ministries.

With help from volunteers and generous donors, Seed to Tree is ministering to and meeting many of the practical needs of the African people in the country of Kenya.

TAKING GOD'S LOVE TO ALL NATIONS BY WHAT WE SAY

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:9, King James Edition)

  • Churches & Ministry: Preaching the message of God's provision for redemption through Jesus and the cross in churches and at outdoor crusades along with the ministry of prayer. We share God's love with children through stories and songs. Bibles are provided for adults and children in the translation that is needed.

TAKING GOD'S LOVE TO ALL NATIONS BY WHAT WE DO

For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: (Matthew 25:35, King James Edition)

  • Orphanages: Building and assisting orphanages. In Kisii, Kenya, an orphanage was built and furnished for 52 children. This project included cows, chickens, leased land for a garden, dishes, bunk beds, mattresses, sheets, blankets, mosquito nets, toothbrushes with tumblers, Bibles, books, clothing, shoes, and trunks for storing personal items. Solar power was provided by students from a school in Kentucky, USA.

  • Schools & Education: Providing curriculum, school supplies, uniforms, feminine pads, high school fees, recreational equipment, games, and storage trunks for teachers. College tuition was paid for a student who received her Bachelor's of Science in Education degree and has brought that knowledge back to her village.

  • Medical: Help by providing the contacts and funds for necessary medical procedures and treatments. Donated eyeglasses are distributed in churches.

Seed to Tree Ministries continues to fulfill the vision and goals of our mission because of prayers, financial donations, and the work of volunteers. Your support is greatly appreciated. We invite you to contact us about ways you can become a part of our ministry.
